Exempts school resource officers and code enforcement officers from the Police Officers Retirement System earnings limitation that restricts how much retired members can earn when returning to work for a covered employer

Current law already exempts members who retired before January 2, 2013, those who reached age 57 at retirement, and those serving in Governor-appointed or elected public offices

Amends Section 9-11-90 of the South Carolina Code to add the new exemption category

Takes effect upon approval by the Governor
