Establishes the "Nursing Home Virtual Visitation Act" allowing nursing home residents (or their legal representatives) to authorize installation of electronic monitoring devices in their rooms at the resident's expense

Requires roommate consent for monitoring devices in shared rooms; nursing homes must make reasonable accommodations if a roommate refuses, including offering room transfers when available

Prohibits nursing homes from denying admission, discharging, or retaliating against residents who choose to use monitoring devices

Mandates nursing homes post signs at main entrances alerting visitors that some rooms may have monitoring devices, and residents must post signs at their room entrances

Recordings from monitoring devices cannot be used in civil actions against nursing homes unless the device was installed with proper notice and prescribed consent forms
