Expands South Carolina's existing grandparent visitation law to include great-grandparents, allowing courts to order visitation rights for great-grandparents of minor children

Applies when one or both parents are deceased, divorced, or living separately, and the parents or guardians have unreasonably denied visitation for more than 90 days

Requires courts to find that visitation would not interfere with the parent-child relationship, and either that parents/guardians are unfit or compelling circumstances exist to overcome the presumption that parental decisions are in the child's best interest

Defines "great-grandparent" as the natural or adoptive grandparent of a natural or adoptive parent of a minor child

Takes effect upon Governor's approval
