Reduces the statute of limitations for claims against dissolved corporations from ten years to five years after the corporation publishes its notice of dissolution in a newspaper

Applies to claimants who did not receive written notice of dissolution, those whose claims were sent but not acted upon, and those with contingent claims or claims based on events occurring after dissolution

Amends Section 33-14-107(c) of the South Carolina Code of Laws

Takes effect upon approval by the Governor
