Requires demands to be in writing, sent via certified mail or overnight delivery, labeled "TIME SENSITIVE," and include specific information such as monetary sum, release type, parties to be released, injury descriptions, and theory of liability

Mandates claimants provide medical records, bills from all treating healthcare providers, and wage/earnings documentation if lost wages are claimed

Guarantees recipients at least 30 days to accept a demand, with automatic extensions of 30 days from any clarification request or 15 days after clarification is received, whichever is greater

Bars time-limited demands that do not strictly comply with the statute from being used as evidence of a "reasonable opportunity to settle" in any lawsuit seeking extracontractual damages against the liability insurer
