Allows exemptions for students whose parents submit written religious objections or who receive a medical exemption certificate from a healthcare provider

Prohibits student athletes with abnormal EKG results from participating until they submit written medical clearance from a qualified healthcare provider

Requires school districts to pursue public and private partnerships to provide EKGs at low or no cost; exempts students from the EKG requirement if their district cannot obtain partnerships offering EKGs for less than $50 per student

Shields schools, districts, and athletic governing bodies from liability for injuries or deaths resulting from undisclosed conditions in exempt students or cardiac events following medical clearance
