Prohibits employers from requiring employees to work without pay during trial periods, break-in periods, or training periods

Exempts numerous categories from daily overtime requirements, including FLSA-exempt employees, agricultural workers, railroad/airline employees, taxicab drivers, commission-based retail workers, and businesses with less than $1 million in annual gross revenue

Requires employers to comply with federal law, collective bargaining agreements, or employment contracts if they provide greater overtime benefits than this section
