Allows expectant mothers who are at least 14 weeks pregnant to apply for temporary handicapped parking placards with certification from a licensed healthcare physician

Placards for expectant mothers automatically expire 365 days after issuance and remain valid regardless of changes in pregnancy status, including miscarriage or premature birth

Expectant mother placards will be color-coded red (same as temporarily disabled) and must include the holder's photograph

Applicants are not required to notify the department of changes in pregnancy status, and may obtain placards for subsequent pregnancies without restriction

The placard fee is $1, and agencies or organizations transporting pregnant individuals may also receive placards for their vehicles
