Requires lineups to be administered by an independent administrator who does not know which person is the suspect, with photos or individuals presented sequentially rather than simultaneously

Mandates specific eyewitness instructions before lineups, including that the perpetrator may not be present, the administrator doesn't know the suspect's identity, and no pressure should be felt to make an identification

Requires at least five fillers (non-suspects) in both photo and live lineups, with fillers resembling the eyewitness's description of the perpetrator

Permits show-ups (single suspect presentations) only when a suspect is located in close proximity in time and place to the crime, and establishes that noncompliance with these requirements is admissible in court and must be considered in motions to suppress identification evidence
