Allows prosecution for homicide offenses regardless of how much time passes between when the bodily injury was inflicted and when the victim dies

Covers deaths resulting from acts of violence, recklessness, or criminal negligence

Preserves defendants' rights to argue defenses related to causation and intervening factors at trial

Applies only to offenses committed on or after the act's effective date (upon Governor's approval)
