York Technical College's SkillsUSA team won the 2025 SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference Championship in nursing assisting and career pathways IET categories, marking the college's third consecutive year earning national champion status.

The college sent 27 students to compete across 25 career and technical fields at the national competition held in Atlanta, Georgia, with 22 students placing in the Top 10 nationally.

York Tech competitors earned a total of 11 medals: four gold, four silver, and three bronze, placing the program among the most successful SkillsUSA chapters in the nation.

The SC House of Representatives resolution directs that a copy be presented to Dr. Stacey Moore, president of York Technical College, and Allison Terry, director for SkillsUSA.
