Wilson Hall boys cross country team won the SCISA 4A State Championship on November 1 at Heathwood Hall Episcopal School, marking their second consecutive state title with a 31-point lead over second-place John Paul II Catholic School

The team set three records: the school record for fastest team finish, the SCISA state meet record, and the SCISA all-time meet record with a combined time of 1:20:14.48

Trip Hunt won the individual state title with a time of 15:26.20, breaking the school record by more than 20 seconds and earning Wilson Hall its first individual championship in three years

All seven team runners placed in the top 18 with times under 17 minutes, under the guidance of Head Coach Reid Schwartz and assistant coaches Dustin Smith, Kristine Smith, Catherine Kelley Schwartz, Grier Schwartz, and Blane Russell

The resolution directs that copies be presented to Head of School Brent Kaneft and Head Coach Reid Schwartz
