South Carolina House Resolution honors A'ja Wilson, center for the Las Vegas Aces, for the team's 2025 WNBA Championship victory

Wilson became the first WNBA player to score 1,000 points in a single season and in 2025 became the first player to win a championship, Finals MVP, league MVP, and Defensive Player of the Year in the same season

During her college career at the University of South Carolina, Wilson scored 2,389 points and recorded 363 blocks (both school records), won the 2017-2018 Naismith College Player of the Year award, and had her No. 22 jersey retired

Wilson is a two-time Olympic gold medalist (2020, 2024), two-time FIBA Women's World Cup gold medalist (2018, 2022), and was named 2024 FIBA Women's Olympics MVP

Career WNBA accomplishments include three-time WNBA champion, six-time All-Star, four-time MVP (a record), and three-time Defensive Player of the Year
