South Carolina House Resolution honoring Dr. Phillip Reynolds, pastor of First Baptist Church of Manning, upon his retirement after 40 years of ministry

Dr. Reynolds served in five churches over his career, including Kathwood Baptist Church in Columbia for nearly 14 years, University Baptist Church in Hattiesburg, Mississippi (2004-2011), and First Baptist Church of Hickory, North Carolina (2011-2017)

Born in Sumter, he earned a bachelor's degree in English from the University of South Carolina in 1981, a Master of Divinity from Southeastern Seminary in 1988, and a Doctor of Divinity from Richmond Theological Seminary in 1999

Dr. Reynolds began serving as pastor of First Baptist Church of Manning in 2017, returning to his home area near Pinewood, South Carolina

Resolution directs that a copy be presented to Dr. Phillip Reynolds to recognize his exemplary service
