Creates a General Assembly Member Salary Commission composed of seven members appointed by the Governor, one from each U.S. Congressional District in South Carolina

Commission members must have expertise in law, economics, finance, human resources, business, or compensation and cannot be elected or appointed government officials

Beginning with Fiscal Year 2026-2027, General Assembly member salaries must be based on commission recommendations, with a salary study conducted every four years

Commission must submit its first report with recommended salary ranges to legislative leadership by December 15, 2026

Commission members receive mileage, subsistence, and per diem for meetings attended, and any salary increases must comply with Article III of the South Carolina Constitution
