Recognizes her career as an educator in Aiken and Allendale counties, retiring as guidance director from South Aiken High School in 1999

Honors her 23 years of service on the Aiken City Council representing District 1 (1988-2011), including a term as Mayor Pro Tem and her work on North Aiken redevelopment

Acknowledges her community leadership as charter president of The Aiken Chapter of The Links Incorporated and former president of the Aiken Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority

Directs that a copy of the resolution be presented to her husband, State Representative William Clyburn Sr.
