Dr. Pamela Richardson Wilks will be inaugurated as the fourteenth president of Clinton College on March 6, 2026

Dr. Wilks brings over 25 years of higher education experience and is a first-generation college graduate with degrees from North Carolina A&T State University and a doctorate from Indiana University of Pennsylvania

Her previous leadership roles include provost and vice president for academic affairs at Coppin State University, where she managed a nearly $30 million budget and secured a 153% increase in research and sponsored funding

She has held senior positions at multiple Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), including Edward Waters University, Shaw University, Wilberforce University, and Paine College

The South Carolina House of Representatives formally recognizes and honors Dr. Wilks upon her inauguration through this resolution
