Dorman High School girls volleyball team won the South Carolina Class AAAAA-Division 1 State Championship on November 8, 2025, defeating River Bluff Gators in a best-of-five match (winning sets 25-23, 25-21, and 15-13)

The team finished the season with a 30-6 overall record and a perfect 14-0 region record under Head Coach Paula Kirkland

This championship marks the program's 17th state title and third consecutive state championship

The team featured eight seniors: Grace America, Ramsey Larke Chastain, Katherine Colwell, Maggie Helle, Mackenzie Maughon, Meg Rousseau, Reese Shugart, and Chelsea Zikusooka

The House Resolution directs that a copy be presented to Principal Bryant Roberson and Head Coach Paula Kirkland
