Extends the time period for prosecuting homicide charges when injuries result in delayed death from 3 years to 10 years between the injury and victim's death

Allows homicide charges when bodily injury is inflicted through violence, recklessness, or criminal negligence and the victim dies within the 10-year window

Preserves defendants' rights to argue defenses related to causation, intervening factors, or other relevant issues at trial

Officially titled "Egypt's Law"

Takes effect upon Governor's approval
