Honors Mendy Corder, municipal clerk for the City of Cayce, South Carolina, upon her retirement after 29 years of service

Corder began her career with the City of Cayce in 1996 as a receptionist at age 24, later serving in the Cayce Police Department records department before becoming administrative coordinator for the City Manager's Office

As municipal clerk, she maintained transparency, compliance, and city council operations while also managing public buildings and city events

Corder provided leadership for numerous community events including Soiree on State (award-winning event from Mayors Institute for City Design), Bluegrass Festival, Fall Fest, and helped develop the Cayce Art Lot and Cayce Cool Down programs

Directs that a copy of this House Resolution be presented to Mendy Corder
