Resolution highlights the organization's Emerald Plate Initiative aimed at enhancing food access, justice, and sovereignty throughout the Southeastern United States

Recommends the General Assembly consider expanding SNAP eligibility, enacting Healthy School Meals for All legislation, accepting Summer EBT funds, and establishing a Food Security and Equity Task Force

Encourages policies supporting Black farmers through equitable access to land, credit, and procurement opportunities, along with investments in nutrition incentive programs like Double Bucks and Healthy Bucks to boost fresh produce access
