Landrum High School Lady Cardinals girls basketball team won the 2026 South Carolina Class AA State Championship on March 5, 2026, at the Colonial Life Arena in Columbia

The team defeated Atlantic Collegiate Academy 45-43 in the championship game, finishing the season with a 20-7 record and securing the program's first state championship

Sophomore Delaney Caldwell led all scorers with 19 points, 12 rebounds, and 6 assists; Kylie Fortner added 10 points and became the all-time leading scorer for the Lady Cavaliers earlier in the season

The team's notable wins included a 69-61 victory over Class AAAAA Spartanburg High School and a 66-47 Upper State championship win over two-time Class AA state champion Andrew Jackson High School

Head Coach Kali Koenig, her coaching staff, and Principal Dr. J. Kegan Flynn will receive copies of this House Resolution honoring their achievement
