Woolfork graduated from Vero Beach High School in 1970 and earned a degree from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, where he played trombone in the "Incomparable Marching 100" band

Devoted twenty-nine years to the Gifford Youth Achievement Center as director of public relations and facilities operations, helping increase Indian River County's Black graduation rate from 23% to 90% since 1997

Served as a life member of the Indian River County NAACP and participated in the Progressive Civic League of Gifford and Indian River County Chamber of Commerce

Resolution directs that a copy be presented to his family
