Congratulates the South Carolina Asphalt Pavement Association (SCAPA) on its 60th anniversary, having been incorporated in November 1966

Recognizes SCAPA members' role in building and maintaining South Carolina's transportation infrastructure including interstate highways, state highways, local roads, parking facilities, and airport pavements

Notes that current infrastructure investments are estimated to generate more than $56 billion in economic output and support tens of thousands of jobs across the state

Acknowledges the asphalt industry's environmental stewardship, as asphalt pavement is one of the most recycled materials in America, with reclaimed asphalt incorporated into new roadway construction

Directs that a copy of the resolution be presented to the South Carolina Asphalt Pavement Association
