Pelion Elementary School archery team won state titles in both Bullseye and IBO/3D categories at the 2026 South Carolina National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP) State Archery Tournament held March 3, 2026, at the South Carolina State Fairgrounds

Three first-place champions each received a bow and $750 scholarship: Kaman Kneece (Bullseye, elementary males), Carter Day (3D, elementary males), and Cassidy Johns (3D, elementary females)

The Panthers swept all five podium positions in the 3D elementary males category: Carter Day (1st), Owen Green (2nd), Kyler King (3rd), Knox Montgomery (4th), and Kaman Kneece (5th)

Coaches Miranda Montgomery, Annalee Clark, and Ashlyn Massey led the team under Principal Francina Gerald

Resolution directs a copy be presented to the principal and coaches of Pelion Elementary School
