West Florence High School ladies tennis team won the 2025 South Carolina Class AAAAA Division II State Championship, defeating T.L. Hanna High School 4-2 on November 8, 2025, at the Cayce Tennis and Fitness Center

The team finished the season with a 23-1 record and captured the first state trophy in the program's history

Shelby White became the first state tennis champion in school history as the 2025 Class 5A/4A Individual State Champion; Grace Murrell was also named All-State, and Emma Watford was named North-South All-Star Player

Head Coach Abby Sullivan was named the 2025 SCACA Coach of the Year and North-South All-Star Coach

The resolution directs that a copy be presented to Principal April Leroy and Coach Abby Sullivan
