Conner Beaudin, a senior at James F. Byrnes High School in Spartanburg, won the 2026 South Carolina Class AAAAA State Championship in the 144-pound weight class on February 21, 2026 at the Florence Center

Beaudin is a four-time state champion (2023 at 126 pounds, 2024 and 2025 at 138 pounds, 2026 at 144 pounds), becoming the 34th wrestler in South Carolina history to achieve this distinction

He was named South Carolina "Mr. Wrestler" (wrestler of the year) and most outstanding wrestler at the 2026 Class AAAAA State Tournament

Beaudin is a three-time Spartanburg County champion and three-time region champion, finishing his high school career with a 146-15 record

The South Carolina House of Representatives formally recognizes and honors Beaudin for his wrestling achievements and directs that a copy of this resolution be presented to him
