Chesnee High School girls golf team won the 2025 South Carolina Class AA-A State Championship, their fifth consecutive state title, defeating Atlantic Collegiate Academy 346-349 at Chester Country Club on October 28, 2025

The team overcame a 14-shot deficit after the front nine holes while playing in freezing temperatures and steady rain after day one was rained out

Senior Jada Flynn shot a personal best 71 and finished second overall, while eighth-grader Amelia Shields sank the winning putt on the final hole to secure the three-point victory

Three seniors concluded their careers with five state championships: Jada Flynn, Abby Herrington, and Abigail Watson; Flynn, Herrington, and Shields earned All-State honors
