Allows residents of long-term care facilities (or their personal representatives) to designate up to three people permitted to visit during declared states of emergency when facility access is limited or prohibited due to disasters or public health emergencies

Limits visitation to one designated visitor at a time during regular visiting hours when emergency restrictions are in place

Requires residents to provide each designated visitor's name, relationship to the resident, and contact information to the facility

Permits residents or their personal representatives to change the designated visitor list twice per calendar year, or when a designated visitor becomes permanently unable to continue visiting

Takes effect upon approval by the Governor
