Amends the definition of "likely to engage in acts of sexual violence" under the Sexually Violent Predator Act (Section 44-48-30)

Changes the standard from requiring proof that a person is "predisposed to engage in" and "more probably than not will engage in" acts of sexual violence

Replaces the standard with a "propensity to commit" acts of sexual violence that poses a menace to public health and safety

Removes the explicit "more probable than not" probability requirement from the definition

Takes effect upon approval by the Governor
