Expands pharmacists' scope of practice to include prescribing drugs and devices for conditions that do not require a new diagnosis, are minor and self-limiting, have CLIA-waived diagnostic tests, or are patient emergencies

Broadens pharmacists' authority to initiate, order, and administer "laboratory tests" (previously limited to flu and COVID tests only)

Establishes criteria for pharmacists to determine if specific acts fall within their scope of practice, including whether the act is prohibited by law, consistent with their education and training, and within accepted standards of care

Adds failure to meet professional standards provided by other qualified licensees in similar settings as a new category of unprofessional conduct for pharmacists, permit holders, and pharmacy technicians

Takes effect July 1, 2025
