Creates new expulsion provisions (up to one academic year) for students who knowingly make threats of bodily harm by weapon against students or employees, requiring findings that the threat was specific, credible, and caused substantial disruption

Allows expelled students to receive educational services through alternative settings including virtual programming and adult education

Clarifies that student transfers in lieu of suspension/expulsion must occur within the school district and requires notification to and input from the receiving school's principal
