Recognizes their actions on September 20, 2024, when they responded to locate a suspect who had shot a McBee police officer the previous day near Lee State Park

The officers encountered an ambush when the suspect blocked the road and opened fire with a rifle, firing several hundred rounds at their patrol vehicle, which caught fire and killed K-9 Deputy Mikka

The suspect was wounded in the exchange, later found deceased with loaded AR-15 magazines and a pipe bomb in his possession

Directs that copies of the resolution be presented to each of the four honored officers
