Proposes a constitutional amendment limiting South Carolina Senators to a maximum of three terms in office and House of Representatives members to a maximum of six terms

Terms served prior to January 1, 2026 would not count toward the term limits

Service in office for more than one half of a term counts as a full term for purposes of the limit

The proposed amendment would be submitted to voters at the next general election for representatives for approval

Term limits apply regardless of which district the member represents
