Adds school bus stops to the list of locations where certain sex offenders are prohibited from residing within 1,000 feet, joining schools, daycare centers, children's recreational facilities, parks, and public playgrounds.

Applies to sex offenders convicted of criminal sexual conduct with a minor (first or second degree), assault with intent to commit criminal sexual conduct with a minor, kidnapping a person under 18, or trafficking of persons under 18.

Requires school districts to provide local law enforcement with a list of school bus stops and to notify parents/guardians of sex offenders residing within 1,000 feet of stops, either directly or via a hyperlink to the sex offender registry.

Exempts sex offenders who owned or rented their property before the act's effective date from relocation requirements, provided residency has been continuous and lawful.

Establishes graduated penalties for violations: first offense carries up to 30 days imprisonment and/or $500 fine; second offense up to 3 years and/or $1,000; third or subsequent offense (felony) up to 5 years and/or $5,000.
