The mentoring program serves students ages 12-16 and addresses social, academic, and familial challenges through weekly journaling, goal-setting, and mental health resources

Program includes group sessions with research-based techniques for developing healthy coping mechanisms and stress-management strategies

Also acknowledges the companion "Questions From A Middle Schooler" initiative, which provides a confidential form for students to submit questions about academic pressures, mental health, and other concerns

Directs that a copy of the resolution be presented to Laniesha Williams-Flood
