South Carolina Senate resolution recognizing and honoring Jana Curry for her service as a music teacher and director of Honor Choir at Boiling Springs Elementary School since August 2000

Mrs. Curry holds a Bachelor of Music and Music Education from Georgia State University, national board certification in early/middle childhood music, and a Master of Education from Southern Wesleyan University

Served as District Two Honor Chorus Director for Spartanburg District Two Schools from 2015-2018 and has been Lead Elementary Music Teacher for Spartanburg District Two Schools since August 2022

Received numerous awards including a Presidential Citation from President Donald Trump, Spartanburg County Veteran's Affairs Challenge Coin, and Boiling Springs Elementary Teacher of the Year Award

Directs the school's South Carolina History Program combining state history with music, organizes the Veterans Day program, and performed as a backup vocalist in the Super Bowl XXXIV Halftime Show
