Won the Batesburg-Leesville Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year Award in 2014 and received first place Community Service Award from the S.C. Press Association for 2024 Hurricane Helene coverage

Expanded operations in January 2024 by acquiring the Saluda Standard Sentinel in neighboring Saluda County
