Establishes the South Carolina-Bahamas Trade Commission with 15 members to advance bilateral trade and investment between South Carolina and The Bahamas

Commission membership includes 4 appointees from the Speaker of the House, 4 from the Senate President, and 7 from the Governor (including the Secretary of Commerce, Commissioner of Agriculture, higher education representatives, Bahamian-American community representatives, and business organization representatives)

Members serve staggered terms of 2-4 years initially, then 4-year terms, without compensation but with expense reimbursement

Commission purposes include promoting business and academic exchanges, encouraging mutual economic support and infrastructure investment, and initiating joint policy action on issues of mutual interest

Requires annual reports to the Governor and General Assembly beginning one year after initial meeting, with first report due by February 1 thereafter; authorized to raise funds through solicitation, grants, and gifts
