Honors her thirty-two-year teaching career at Georgetown County elementary schools, including J.D. Beck, Deep Creek, and Plantersville Elementary, where she educated hundreds of students in math, social studies, and sciences

Recognizes her lifelong membership of over seventy years at Mount Carmel United Missionary Baptist Church, where her family donated land and helped establish the congregation

Acknowledges her 1957 graduation from Benedict College and membership in Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority, as well as her status as a descendant of freed people of color and rice growers from West Africa

Directs that a copy of the resolution be presented to Ruthena Ford
