Requires students in kindergarten through eighth grade to receive a minimum of 60 minutes of outdoor physical activity each day, weather permitting, beginning with the 2026-2027 school year

Expands the daily physical activity goal from 30 minutes to 60 minutes for elementary students

Physical activity can include physical education, instructional play, or unstructured play

Removes previous requirements for 150 minutes per week of physical education and physical activity that were established in 2006-07

Maintains the existing 28-to-1 student to teacher ratio requirement for physical education classes
