Congratulates Chief Charles Rucker on his fiftieth anniversary at New Red Rock Fire Station in Calhoun County, South Carolina

Chief Rucker joined the fire service as a volunteer on September 8, 1975, became chief in 1982, and served in that role for twenty-seven years until 2009

Began teaching at the Fire Academy in 1996 and was appointed training officer of Calhoun County in 2020, overseeing all training for county firefighters

Currently serves as acting chief of New Red Rock Fire Station while continuing his role as a Fire Academy instructor

Resolution directs that a copy be presented to Chief Charles Rucker in recognition of his dedicated service to the state
