Dr. Young practiced general surgery for fifty years after graduating medical school in 1981, also serving fifteen years in trauma surgery and specializing in wound care during his final two and a half years

Volunteered at the Taylors Free Medical Clinic since 2010 and completed medical missions with Time Global over fifteen years
