South Carolina Senate resolution expressing profound sorrow upon the passing of Reginald Sterling Garvin Sr., known as "Fuzzy," who died on December 6, 2025, at age 60 in Richland County.

Garvin was born in Columbia on August 26, 1965, graduated from Eau Claire High School in 1984, and continued education at Mansfield College, South Carolina Real Estate School for Success, and The Brewer Insurance Information Service.

He was an entrepreneur who founded multiple businesses including Garvin Automotive, Garvin Insurance Agency, Garvin Realty Group, and Theta Nu Phi Records, and previously worked for Budweiser, Carolina Wine and Spirits, and other companies.

Garvin was a member of Brookland Baptist Church for over 30 years and is survived by his mother, three children (including State Representative Kambrell Houston Garvin), one granddaughter, and seven siblings.

The resolution directs that a copy be presented to the Garvin family.
