Expands South Carolina's Elevator Code to include single private dwelling residence elevators, which were previously exempt from regulation

Requires mandatory final acceptance inspection by the Department of Labor, Licensing, and Regulation director upon completion of installation, modification, or alteration of private residence elevators before they can be placed into service

Mandates homeowners register their private dwelling elevators with the department after inspection and final acceptance

Directs the department director to create and maintain a database of all registered single private dwelling residence elevators in the state
