Department of Public Health must create an informational pamphlet or poster on evidence-based seizure first aid for individuals experiencing seizures in the workplace and make it available on the department's website.

The pamphlet may incorporate federal guidance or guidance from nonprofit organizations supporting individuals with epilepsy and seizure disorders.

Chief executive officers of all state governmental entities must post the seizure first aid pamphlet or poster in a clearly visible and accessible location frequented by employees.

"Seizure first aid" is defined as nonmedical procedures to respond, attend, and provide comfort and safety to a person suffering from a primary generalized tonic-clonic seizure or complex partial seizure.

"State governmental entity" includes state agencies in all branches of government and political subdivisions of South Carolina.
