Honors Mendy Corder, Municipal Clerk for the City of Cayce, upon her retirement after 29 years of service to the city

Corder began her career with Cayce in 1996 at age 24 as the city's receptionist, later serving in the Cayce Police Department records department and as administrative coordinator for the City Manager's Office

As municipal clerk and administrative coordinator, she ensured transparency, compliance, and smooth functioning of city council and municipal processes while managing public buildings

Organized and oversaw numerous community events including the award-winning Soiree on State, Bluegrass Festival, Fall Fest, and assisted with developing the Cayce Art Lot and Cayce Cool Down initiative

The South Carolina Senate extends best wishes for her retirement and directs that a copy of the resolution be presented to her
