Originally chartered as Lexington #2 Lodge on February 9, 1976, and incorporated by the South Carolina Secretary of State on April 22, 1976

Name changed from Fraternal Order of Police Lexington #2 to Fraternal Order of Police Midlands Lodge #1 on January 24, 1986

The National Fraternal Order of Police is the world's largest sworn law enforcement organization with over 300,000 members in more than 2,000 lodges

Resolution directs that a copy be presented to Fraternal Order of Police Midlands Lodge #1
