SC S1065

Prohibits aliens and persons affiliated with foreign adversaries, foreign terrorist organizations, or transnational criminal organizations from owning, controlling, buying, leasing, or acquiring any tangible or intangible property in South Carolina.

Requires mandatory divestment of property held by prohibited persons, with assets forfeited to the State without compensation or eminent domain protections.

Authorizes the Governor to designate by executive order specific countries, foreign adversaries, terrorist organizations, or criminal organizations as prohibited from holding property in the state.

Empowers the Attorney General, SLED, and state and local law enforcement to locate and remove prohibited persons and deliver them to federal immigration authorities.

Prohibits South Carolina courts from applying or enforcing Sharia law or any foreign law that conflicts with these property restrictions in judicial decisions.
