Requests the South Carolina Department of Transportation name the bridge crossing the CSX Railroad track along South Carolina Highway 72 in the Town of Whitmire as the "Carol Thomas Memorial Bridge"

Honors Carol Thomas (March 13, 1950 – January 23, 2018), a Newberry County native who served as Whitmire Fire Department Chief, Mayor Pro Tempore of Whitmire, and member of Whitmire Town Council

Recognizes Thomas's 35-year career as Winn Dixie market manager and his ownership of Piggly Wiggly of Whitmire beginning in 2006

Directs SCDOT to erect appropriate markers or signs at the bridge location with the memorial designation
